“A.R.T. of Go-Go” was started in August 2012 when Ninety-Nine invited go-go musician, music producer, and radio host Dwayne Lee, hip hop artist, educator, and activist Head-Roc, hip hop artist Christylez Bacon, and lyrical poet Reesa Renee to speak to an audience at the Tap & Parlour in Washington, DC about how go-go music has influenced their art.
